Updated on May 27th to Matthew Wilkinson: While there will be no WWE 2K coming this year following the incredibly poor response to WWE 2K20 (which unsurprisingly doesn't make this list), there are plenty of great games in WWE's past that are available for people to enjoy in the meantime. These games stand out among the rest and continue to be played even to this day as they're remembered by many to be true classics of the genre. However, there have been some pretty stellar entries in the series that deserve your attention if they haven't already had it. The games just aren't what they use to be. With the recent failure that was WWE 2K20, it's not hard to see why fans of wrestling games have turned away from the franchise altogether.
